Shortlisted photos from the "Moods" - Post-A-Pic 2009 contest will be reviewed by three external judges from Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Post-A-Pic Contest Judges

Shortlisted photos from the "Moods" - Post-A-Pic 2009 contest will be reviewed by three external judges from Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

The judging panel comprised Mr George Ong from Malaysia, Khun Akkapol Sirinukoolchorn from Thailand and Mr Nicko Darwis from Indonesia. Mr Ong and Mr Darwis were also trainers for the Morus 'Beyond Point and Shoot' photo workshop held last year.

The judges will be commenting on the Grand winner and four top entries and the results will be availabe on Morus very soon.

Malaysia

 


Mr George Ong enjoys capturing candid moments of family and friends and passionate about wildlife photography especially birds as he finds it challenging and unscripted.

 

Mr Ong has conducted photography workshops for major photography events in Malaysia and an experienced photography judge for local contests such as DGcolor Photo Festival 2009 Photography Competition and Boiler Room Photography Contest.

 
Thailand



Khun Akkapol Sirinukoolchorn, a professional photographer in Bangkok currently works as the photo editor for I-Design Magazine.

 

Khun Akkapol is also a freelance photographer passionate in portrait and fashion set shoots and talented in effectively drawing out extreme emotions from his picture subjects.

 

A graduate in Bachelor of Educational Technology from Burapha University, majoring in Photogragphy and Business Administration, majoring in Advertising from Rajamangala Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Khun Akkapol was invited to join PLAY ON Magazine as photographer upon graduation.

Indonesia



 

Mr Nicko Darwis is a lecturer and professional photographer in Jakarta.

 

Mr Darwis' impressive photography portfolio includes wedding, corporate events, official photographer for marketing stock photo, corporate companies and colleges including the Museum Renaissance Blanco, in Ubud, Bali.

 

In addition, he was the illustrator and artistic designer for ”English Book For Children” by CELL, PT Nusa Groupindo, Sentra Kramat Building, Jakarta and graphic designer for a non-goverment organisation -Centre for Media and Cross Cultural, Studies, Lhokseumawe in Aceh.

 

Mr Darwis participated in the ‘Indonesia foto Dialogue with Nature 2006’ exhibition and is a judge for local competitions in Jakarta. For more information, visit: www.mitraphotography.com
